Confirm a booking
How to turn an accepted quote into a confirmed booking.
When a client accepts your quote, you need to confirm the booking with the supplier. Here is how to proceed.
Confirmation process
Acceptance notification
You receive a notification when your client accepts a quote. The quote status changes to 'Accepted'.
Check the details
From the quote page, check all details: dates, rooms, guests, options. Make sure everything is correct before confirming.
Collect client payment
Collect payment from your client according to your arrangement (bank transfer, card, cash). bookôtels does not charge the end client.
Confirm the booking
Click 'Confirm booking'. bookôtels sends the order to the supplier. Your margin remains owed to you and is added to your commission balance.
Voucher and confirmation
Upon confirmation, you receive the booking documents (voucher, supplier confirmation) which you can forward to your client.
Warning
A confirmed booking commits you to the supplier and is subject to the cancellation terms of the chosen rate. You do not, however, need any balance funded to book.
Tip
Confirm bookings as soon as possible after a quote is accepted. Availability and rates can change quickly.
